Gunpowder Plot Tour

In 1605 a group of conspirators plotted to blow up Parliament and kill King James. They were discovered at the very last minute and the date is celebrated to this day on November 5^th ….Guy Fawkes night.

Many of the conspirators came from the Heart of England and many of the sites associated with this important piece of English history can be visited today.  On this one-day tour:
